Terms of use
Use Recognizing responsibly.
App Store licence
Apps obtained through Apple's App Store are licensed under Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, unless the App Store product page states that a custom licence applies.
Recording responsibility
You are responsible for informing participants and obtaining all consent required before recording, transcribing or capturing a conversation. You must not use Recognizing to secretly record, unlawfully monitor, harass or infringe the privacy or rights of another person.
Generated content
Transcripts and generated records may contain errors. Review important names, decisions, obligations, dates, risks and actions against the source conversation before relying on or sharing them. Recognizing is not legal, medical, financial or professional advice.
Your content and configured providers
You retain responsibility for the content you record, import, enter, export or send. If you configure an optional third-party cloud provider on Mac, that provider's terms and privacy policy apply to the text sent to it.
Availability
Local speech-model availability, accuracy and language support depend in part on Apple platform capabilities, device conditions and audio quality. Features may change as the apps improve.
